Explosives detection dogs and bedbug detection dogs on the road for you
SPRENGSTOFFE
Our explosives detection dogs are trained on real explosives, from 1g to 20 kg.
BOMB-SNIFFING DOGS
EDUCATION
Training explosives detection dogs is
an intensive process that can take
several months. The dogs are
trained to detect various explosives
and other explosive materials and
learn to recognize and locate the
scents. The dogs also have to learn
to work in different environments and
interact with different people and
animals.
TRAINING
Our explosives detection dogs are
trained in various locations, cars,
coaches, trucks, railroads, ships,
nature and differentiation routes.
EXPLOSIVE MATERIALS
For training, we have a
representative selection of pure
military and industrial explosives and
explosive formulations.
We only work with real explosives
from 1 g up to 20 kg.

PASSION INOVATION VISION
How does an explosives
detection dog work?
An explosives detection dog does
not work on the principle that it
"smells explosives", but that it
recognizes volatile odor molecules
emanating from an explosive. Its
exceptionally powerful sense of
smell enables it to perceive even the
smallest concentrations of these
molecules that are imperceptible to
humans.
How reliable are explosive
detection dogs?
The reliability of explosive detection
dogs is one of the highest in the field
of mobile detection - provided that
the dog is professionally trained,
regularly trained, tested and
professionally managed.
A well-trained explosives detection
dog can detect minute amounts of
characteristic odor components of
explosives that are difficult or
impossible for humans or technical
equipment to directly recognize.
The dogs are able to detect specific
odors emanating from explosives
and can detect these odors in the air,
on objects or on people.
Can dogs detect TATP?
Yes, professionally trained explosive
detection dogs can detect TATP.
TATP (triacetone triperoxide) is one
of the so-called homemade
explosives (HME) and, due to its
high sensitivity, places special
demands on the detection and
training of explosive detection dogs.
Dogs do not recognize the
"explosive itself", but the volatile
odor components and cleavage
products that emanate from TATP.
